Visit to Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Science for Women- Class XII-A
The visit to highly equipped laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Microbiology were very informative. The exposure and the opportunity was well utilized by the students to get a hands on experience on a number of lab equipments. The students witnessed the demonstration of Spectrophotometer, pH meter, a helium-argon laser, diffraction, de Santy's Bridge, an autoclave and many more. The professors helped the students with theoretical demonstration prior to the experiment which kept the students engaged.
CBSE IBM AI workshop - Class XI
Session-II of CBSE-IBM AI SEWA Programme was conducted for the students of class XI. The resource person, Ms. Subhalaxmi Borah from IMIB, briefed the students about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. They also learnt how programming languages can be linked with Rasberry Pi and AI can be integrated with it. Students have been given forms wherein they will write solutions to the social problems they want to work on and will submit their work by Thursday, 7th November. Top 3 teams will be selected to be trained by IBM experts.
Halloween's Day - Class Nur-II
The students came dressed up as vampires, ghosts, witches, monsters etc.. Excited faces were seen everywhere as children posed for photos. The teachers informed them about the significance of this day. Ghost Masks were given to each child as a take away gift.
PCRA Online Quiz - Classes VII-X
15 students from classes VII-X participated in PCRA Online Quiz. The theme of the quiz was Fuel Conservation. Result awaited.
Inter-House Science Mastermind Competition - Classes IX-XII
The final round of Inter-House Science Mastermind Competition was conducted in the school. There were 16 participants, 4 from each house. There were 8 rounds and each round had different types of questions based on PPT and experiments. All the students participated enthusiastically. The House on duty was Radhakrishnan House. Result Awaited.
Workshop on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste - Classes VI-VIII
The workshop was conducted by MEITY- Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology in association with MAIT- Manufactures Association of Information Technology. The workshop was very informative and the students had an interactive session. The certificates of poster making competition conducted as an awareness programme were also awarded. Anshuman Kureel of class VI-A bagged the first position, Yashita Gupta of class X-A bagged the second position and Sejal Nagpal of class IX-B bagged the third position. An extempore competition was also held during the workshop. Anya Garg of class VI-B, Sarthak Sharma of class VI-C and Prisha Khanna of class VII-A were awarded the Certificate of Appreciation.
Special assembly on Diwali - Classes Nur-KG
The students came dressed up in bright colorful ethnic attire or as the character of Ramlila. The programme began with a prayer followed by skits representing ways to celebrate a cracker free, green Diwali. There were songs related to Diwali festival as well as beautiful dances filled with elan. It concluded with a skit demonstrating various characters depicting the entire story of Ramayana. Students & Teachers were given sky lanterns as Diwali presents.
Stage Presentation on 'The Witty Tales of Akbar-Birbal' - Class II
The students enacted their roles brilliantly and were applauded by their parents who were invited to witness the performances of their wards. The students were dressed in different attires like Akbar, Birbal. They also made everyone laugh with their jokes and amazed everyone with the dance performance.
Workshop by World Renowned Author Andy Cope - Classes VI-VIII
10 avid readers/students from classes VI-VIII attended a workshop by the world renowned author Andy Cope in DLF Public School, Sahibabad. The session involved various ways to bring the best version of yourself. The four minute rule highlighted that if we try to be happy for the first four minutes in every situation, we can stay positive through out the day. The students learnt that they should try to do things better than they have to. The worksheet ended with an autograph session by the author himself. It was an extremely enlightening experience for the students.
